Where to stay for your big gay las vegas bachelor party.

Out of all of the hotels and huge resorts in Las Vegas, there is only actually one gay hotel, The Blue Moon Resort Las Vegas.  As far as Gay Hotels go, this one is one of the top ones.  The beds are extremely comfortable, the staff is extremely cute and the rooms are great, at least the suites.  It is an all male hotel though and they don’t have any gambling or smoking in the hotel or your rooms.  For me that is actually a bonus.  The Blue Moon Hotel and Resort Las Vegas also boasts a fabulous heated pool and a gorgeous waterfall that runs over the hot tub and pours into the pool.  It is clothing optional as well and there is almost always some fabulous eye candy to watch.  Click on the link above to discover what else you’ll find at the fabulous Blue Moon Resort and Spa in Gay Las Vegas.

The Strip Hotels.

Almost all of these have gone downhill.  If you want to stay on the strip, MGM Grand and the hotels at the bottom are closest to the gay bars to party.  Planet Hollywood has horrible rooms and toiletries but does have a third rate gay bar inside.  You can also find a few mixed clubs on the strip, but nothing like the Blue Moon Resort.  You should seriously stay at Blue Moon.  Great rooms with comfy beds, even if you don’t want to hookup.  You can also possibly have the front desk recommend a dancer service to get your big gay las vegas bachelor party off to a fabulous start.

What to do for your big gay las vegas bachelor party.

Las Vegas has finally opened a straight friendly gay strip club.  Even if you wouldn’t normally go to a strip club, you are in vegas and at a bachelor party so why not go to a male strip club that has a room with female dancers for the straight men.  Its a win win for everyone.  I can’t remember what the name of the strip club is, but if you ask the cab drivers where the gay strip club in las vegas is they’ll know which one you are talking about.

The clubs.

The only real club that has VIP rooms for gay people and table service is Gipsy or Phirana.  It is basically Vegas’s version of a night club with a dance floor and multiple rooms.  It is a great place to party for your big gay las vegas bachelor party.

Other…where to eat, etc…

For other you have a million shows like Cirque De Soliel and even performers like Celine Dion, Bette Midler and Cher.  Take your pic because each show is also amazing.

For food there are a million places to eat.  Here are a few personal favorites at each price level.

The Peppermill.  The Peppermill is one of the most classic and well known locals spots.  They have above and beyond the most amazing breakfasts and they also have great drunk food at night.  Our Bartender Maurice was awesome,,,tip him well!  The Peppermill in Vegas is a classic spot that hasn’t changed since the 70′s.  Go for breakfast or late drunk food.  It is very reasonably priced as well.

Simons at the Palms Palace.  This place is very expensive but more than worth it.  The steaks melt in your mouth, the presentation is lacking on some plates but the wines and desserts are absolutely incredible.  The food is absolutely incredible for the most part and I highly recommend it.

In and Out Burger.  If you’re budget conscious and want dirty greasy trashy food, In and Out Burger in Las Vegas is perfect for you.  If you’re from the east coast like me it becomes an amazing treat.  If you’re from California you’ll probably want to pass lol.

With the Real Housewives being popular and everyone wanting to be a Diva or to have a red carpet experience at their wedding, one of the things i wanted to recommend you buy is a wedding picture backdrop with your name on it. Since your wedding probably isn’t sponsored by corporations, your names or your new monogram as a couple is perfect for it. Not only can you have everyone walk the red carpet or just stand in front of your wedding photo backdrop for a picture all dressed up, but you can probably negotiate the cost of your wedding photographer down by hiring him to shoot pictures of people in front of the step and repeat for your wedding. So I saw an infomercial the other day for a brand new as seen on tv product called Pajama Jeans.  Pajama Jeans are pajama bottoms that look like actual blue jeans.  I did sort of want to buy them because I am seriously lazy and by wearing the as seen on tv Pajama Jeans I would be able to wake up on a Sunday morning and head to brunch without having to change out of my pajama bottoms.  The only problem is that if a friend would hug me or we would go out to a bar for happy hour after I may get called out for wearing Pajama Jeans instead of real blue jeans.  As far as wedding wear goes though, if you are doing a white trash wedding or need an outfit for a white trash wedding, than I think pajama jeans are the perfect pair of pants for them.

When I think of white trash wedding clothes I automatically think of the tshirt tuxedos.  The ones where it is a tshirt that is designed to look like you are wearing a tuxedo with a tie.  Not only are tshirt tuxedos stereotypically white trash clothes but when you combine them with camo pants or any form of sweat pants you have the perfect white trash wedding clothing.  Now, although pajama jeans are not white trash wedding clothing at all and you could probably actually pass pajama jeans off as real blue jeans, as long as noone touches them (I have actually seen these cut into tight cute boy shorts before on shot boys who accented them with cowboy hats at a circuit party and they actually did look like real jeans but felt like pajamas), they are absolutely fabulous and amazing because they do look like you are wearing actual denim but in reality they are seriously comfortable pajama bottoms.

The whole thing behind white trash formal wear is that they want to be comfortable no matter what which is why they wear the tshirt tuxedos and usually a pair of old jeans.  Now that you have Pajama Jeans available which look like jeans but are more comfortable because they are pajama bottoms, when you combine them with the tshirt tuxedo you have the ultimate white trash wedding clothing combination.  Nothing will scream white trash wedding more than a tuxedo tshirt with Pajama Jeans for your white trash wedding.  I personally love the thought behind Pajama Jeans but probably won’t end up buying a pair for myself.  I may end up buying them for other people though.  If you have a pair of Pajama Jeans, please feel free to leave a comment below about how much you either like or hate them.

I cannot believe that it is already time to begin planning late fall, holiday and winter weddings. Well not really plan them but it is time to select the winter wedding favors and to start to think about the final touches or even the main decor on winter weddings now that the holiday season is starting in a few weeks with Halloween and then Thanksgiving.

Winter wedding favors are some of the most fun wedding favors because you not only get to tie in as much silver glitter and sparkly things as you can, but they also work with the actual wedding and season.  You can take snowflakes, use colors like light blue and even add in flavors and scents like mint or peppermint.  Colors like red, white and light blue work for winter weddings and can be brought into the wedding and wedding favors.  Basically anything that makes you think or smell winter like mint or warmth and cold works perfect for winter weddings.

You can serve hot chocolate with fresh marshmallows as well as heated cocktails and you can even get away with family style fondues and fondue bars at your wedding since everyone wants something to keep them warm in the winter and at winter weddings.  Not only do I love the food at winter weddings and love the winter wedding favors but I also love the clothing where you get to dress in layers and turn one outfit into two or three by making each layer work with each other and you can also use each layer to cover the others and really put an amazing outfit together.  Winter weddings are some of the most spectacular weddings because you can not only get away with everything sparkling and covered in glitter but you can also use things like mints and snowflakes or even candy canes, hot chocolate and tea for your winter wedding favors.

One thing that I love the most about fall fashion and what to wear to fall weddings is that fall wedding fashions are all about vintage styles and metallic clothing.  You have to think and remember old styles in Hollywood from the 1920′s and Hollywood Glam.  Think Victor Victoria styled clothing and gowns and also fur or fake fur coats and jackets.  Its about having layers of clothing that completely change looks when you take one off.

When you arrive at the wedding you want to show off the long fur coat or a fur shawl with a long trench coat.  Try to have a silky or satin linings on the inside so when you take it off to show a pencil styled skirt or piped gown it’ll show it off and make everyone take a second glance.  If you aren’t into piping or pencil skirts and tops for fall weddings, you cannot go wrong with gowns and vintage styled dresses in metallic golds and silvers.  Not only are these looks timeless and the colors ideal, but you could do gowns that are low cut in the back with a bottom that flows in layers or you could do vintage styled fall gowns with petals flowing down or even solids that you could picture on Marilyn Monroe or even on the fun blond girl from the movie version of Victor Victoria.  For hair, do a nice vintage style with waves and bobby pins and you can also accent it with a decoration if you would like to.  All of those make sense to wear to fall weddings.  But what about the jewelry.  The jewelry for Fall Weddings has to be vintage styled but also with a modern twist if you cannot afford real jewels and vintage jewelry.

If you can do antique jewelry and can afford the gems then you should stick to colors of gold and silver that match the metallic gold and silver gowns.  For gem stones to add the pop of color in you need to stick with emeralds or rubies or if you can find extremely deep or rich purple amathysts, do that but make sure you have a large dark purple amathyst ring with a large stone to show off the gown.  For emeralds and emerald earrings you’ll want to do bracelets and if you go the ruby earring route than match it with a red ruby and gold ring with a gold metallic gown.  Do not match red rubies with silver gowns for fall.  You can however get away with red and silver in the winter if you hate the bride, but you cannot do that in the fall.

The other style and look that works amazingly well for fall weddings are 1970′s styled clothing that you make modern with asymetrical cuts and modern colors and fabrics.  Take great lines and fashionable sillouettes and completely amazing shoes, you don’t need platform but do cool backs and styles for the sides and you’ll look amazing for the wedding.  For jewelry, find vintage styled but more modern looking jewelry because the 70′s are over and you shouldn’t do full bell bottoms and hippy styled jewelry.  Instead wear vintage styled modern designs that are chic, sort of emo and classic at the same time.  For both styles you can do the chunky jewelry or you can do thin or slimmer jewelry that creates lines instead of draws attention.  Either way works for fall weddings and one of my very favorite stores to recommend you shop for vintage styles but modern looks has to be waxing poetic.
